    Entrepreneurship.org is an online information resource for entrepreneurs coordinated by the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.

  • Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
    The IRS website provides an incredible amount of information for new entrepreneurs especially as it relates to their tax obligations. The website has several resources that discuss what is involved in starting a new business.

  • Money Tree Survey
    The PriceWaterhouseCoopers / Venture Economics / National Venture Capital Association survey provides extensive information on recent venture funding activities. Breakdowns by industry, region, stage of development and type of financing are provided. A list of VC funds is also available.

  • U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
    The SBA provides a wide variety of information of interest to entrepreneurs. The site includes startup tools and checklists as well as information on business plans, financing, employment issues, taxes, and SBA loans, among other topics.

  • Online Women's Business Center
    This site, co-sponsored by the SBA, provides information of particular interest to women entrepreneurs.

  • The Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE)
    With more than 11,500 volunteer business counselors, SCORE provides small business mentoring and advice on a broad range of business topics.
